The book is the first comparative study of the Buddhist and phenomenological philosophy as both epistemological and soteriological program developed in India and in the West. The main focus is laid on how Buddhism and phenomenology analyze the human mind from within. Such a comparison gives a radically new approach to the understanding of Buddhism and phenomenology.
